The Lost Cat In March 2012, Mrs Bouchery, a French lady, was spending three months in the southern part of France accompanied by her cat. During her stay there the cat disappeared mysteriously. She did her best to find it; she looked for the cat everywhere, she published a notice on the local newspaper, she asked everybody about it, but it was all in vain. She came to the conclusion that somebody had stolen the cat. She came back home with the certainty that she would never see that cat again. However, a year and a half later she got a phone call from a veterinary who told her that her cat was in his surgery, only thirty-five kilometres away from her. He had tracked her down thanks to the cat's microchip. The cat was in a very bad condition , but it was certainly hers. Nobody has been able to explain how this cat was able to go through France from South to North covering more than a thousand kilometres.
