"Kind of painful"
誰かが本当に何か "I don't like rain. It's kind of painful."
*I don't like rain. It's kind of painful.
*I hate running because it's kind of painful.
*I don't like overwork. It's kind of painful.
I have a question
I don't understand this words exactly.
” kind of painful”
for example,
*I don't like the rainy, because it's kind of painful. (1)
*I hate running, because it's kind of painful. (2)
*I don't like overwork, because it's kind of painful. (3)
Is this the correct way to use it?
(1) This doesn't really make sense unless you actually meant that a little painful to you.
(2) This one makes more sense, because running is painful haha.
(3) Same as #1.
"Kind of" means 'a little bit', so you could say "I don't like running, because it's a little bit painful."
