Young people today are more likely to help others than young people were in the past? With the development of the economy, the contact between people grows more and more frequent. People will have more experience and knowledge than their last generation. So I strongly agree with the statement above that young people help others than youth were in the past. At the first place, young people nowadays have more opportunities to hope others. More and more people are fascinating travel, and they tend to ask for help from local people. Young people are more likely to be asked because of their high English level. And they are more open and enthusiastic than youth in the past, which encourage people come to get help. Taking my experience for example: when I exchanged learning in Lund university, I always asked help from young people because they can understand my problem well and resolve it perfectly. But when I asked elder people, their English is not good enough to understand me, and their strong accent made me understand their opinions harder. Besides, young people get better education than youth in the past. So young people are capable of doing more and knowing more than their last generation. Sometimes, people reject to help you not because they are not willing to help, but because they have no ability to do what you ask. Since young people have more experience and knowledge than their counterpart in the past, they are more likely to help others. As for me, I would like help people in the field that I am expert. For the things I do not know about, I would run away from those. Last, but not least, there are more and more institutes that provide the opportunities toward young people to volunteer in the developing countries. Those opportunities did not exist in the past. And quiet a lot people devote themselves to the works. My senior high school classmate ,lily, volunteered as teacher for one month during her winter vocation in Africa. To sum up, there are more opportunities nowadays for young people to help others no matter in the local place or the outsides, and young people are more capable than their counterpart in the past. Thus, I agree that the young people are more willing to people than in the past time.
