Ma parkmaa thiye ra tyo din dherai raamro thiyo.

Where are you from?
Tapaai ko ghar kaha chha?

wa(or) Tapai kaha baata ho ?

Where are you going?
Tapaai kahaa jaadai hunnuhunchha?

I am going to the park.
Ma parkmaa jaadai chhu

I went to the store to get some milk
Ma pasalmaa doodh kinna gaye.

Do you guys have any milk for sale?
Tapaai doodh bechha*?

Ke tapaai doodh bechnu huncha ?

( Do you sell milk ? )

When you use tapaai, the verb should be changed accordingly. Bechha is used for somebody who is younger or if you are not talking with that person directly.

Like: Tyo pasaaleLe doodch bechha.

That shopkeeper sells milk.

Do you guys have a room for rent by here?

Ke tapaiharu sanga bhaadama dine kothaa chha ?

How much is it per month?
Ek maheena ko laagi kati rupiyaa ho?

Is there a hotel near by?

Ke yeah najikai kunai hotel chha ?
Yahaabaata hotel najikai chha?

It translates more like: Is the hotel nearby ?

How much is the hotel per day?
Ek din kothaa kati rupiyaa ho?

Kothako dinko kati rupiyaa ho ?

Ma ahile nepali sikdai chhu. Uttar naraamro dine bhane nepali manchhe correct garchha. ( If I give bad answer, Nepali people will correct).

I would say: uttar thik chaaina bhane, aru Nepalile correct garnu hunchhahola. ( If the answer is not good, (some) Nepali might correct it.
