Chetor vs. Chegune چگونه I am confused about when to use chetor and when to use chegune Can someone write 5 sentences with chetor and 5 sentences with chegoone (in transliterated form)? چگونه

Hi. As Arman and Neda told 'chetor' and 'chegune' have the same mining. 'Chegune' is used in writing and letters (formal) and 'chetor' is used in informal talking.

Some examples are written below:

چگونه این کار را انجام بدهم؟

چطوری این کار رو انجامش بدم؟ (informal)

چگونه ممکن است این اتفاق افتاده باشد؟

چطوری ممکنه این اتفاق افتاده باشه؟ (informal)

==============================

چگونه موفق شدی این کار را تموم کنی؟

چطوری موفق شدی این کار رو تموم کنی؟ (informal)

These two words also can be used in different situation and phrase that it needs to be explain more. For expample "Chetor mage?"

Not a chance to use "Chegone" in daily conversations between two people. It used just by formal individuals, Politicians and Broadcasts. Normal people just hear it or read it, and not use it.

Dear Herba I also add this: Cheguneh, is used for formal speech and conference. We only apply it in our formal texts,some television programs,books and so on. But you may refer following illustrate: امروز چطوری محسن؟= How are you today, Mohsen ? مصاحبه ات چطور بود ؟ = How was your interview? چطور می خواستی باشه ؟ افتضاح = How did you expect of that? (literally= How did you expect it to be) ? Terrible.

I got this from a friend. cheune and chetor both means how, but chegoone is more formal. in spoken Farsi you can always use chetor instead. for example: hava emrooz chetor(chegoone) ast: What does the weather like today (How is the weather but I am not sure if you use it this way in English); Chetor (chegoone) oomadi: How did you come?; Chetor (Chegoone) fahmidi? : How did you know; Chetor (Chegune) begam?: How can I put this. Doostat Chetor (chegoone) mord: How did your friend die?

سلام ، چطور و چگونه معنی یکسانی دارند ولی ما معمولا توی صحبت کردن از چگونه استفاده نمیکنیم ، فقط توی نوشتار و متون رسمی و ادبی چگونه استفاده میشه ، بقیه جاها چطور رو استفاده میکنیم we don't use "chegoone" in our talkings , we just use it in formal writings or literary text or speech but they have the same meaning
