Why is English so Difficult?
I know many languages, but the worst language I have ever learnt is English. And The fact is, English is not a one language, but it is at least a mixture of at least three languages. There are many clues left behind from the other languages this fact. Just think about nouns in English, many of the rules came from many other languages. Also, English has many weaknesses. such as One of which is the letter "S". English uses the letter 'S' for everything; the plural form of nouns, the possessive tense, third person, verbs and so on. Poor English, does not have a second person pronoun, and 'you all' could mean the same as 'you'!
- English has continuned to evolve over the years. Latin, French, the Romans, Vikings and the Normans influenced English in its early year. Even Shakespere has been credited for 1000s of words. Many English words were 'discovered,' from the colonies under the rule of the British Empire.
- The second person pronouns are “you,” “your,” and “yours.”
- I wouldn't say it's the hardest, but English is a hard language to learn! Spelling is difficult and words don't sound like they appear.
