Material rewards

With the college entrance examination approaching, students and their parents become nervous. Many parents promise that they will give their kids money or go to travel together for to encourageing them to study hard and in order to go to a good college. It seems a good way. However, does it really works?

Why do we study? It's a very important question. Studying hard today is preparing for a better future, not for material rewards. If students only care about what rewards they will be given, they will lose interest in studying. When they get the rewards, they might lose the motivation for studying. They might regard the material rewards as the requirement of studying, and even ask their parents for more rewards. It's not good for their growthgrowing . Studying is your own mission.
