The AutoCorrect function vs writing.. - 2015 01 26 After having my laptop and smart phone, I seldom write with a pen. It is convenient to type, it is more convenient we can copy and paste. Especially for long words. Development of technology makes life easier. But there are always two sides of the coin. I trust the AutoCorrect function so much, that I almost don’t worry about mis-spelling. I just type and spend less time checking. It makes me work more efficiently. However, my ability of spelling is getting weakened. When I need to check a printed file, I felt uncertain about some words that I used to be familiar with. I think the old sayings always make good sense. Such as “Practice makes perfect”. Now I don’t have enough practice on writing and spelling. Maybe it is a good opportunity to retrieve some extra intelligence by writing with my pen, in such a quiet afternoon. (btw, I have been thinking whether I should use past tense or present tense, and I had to revise for a few times to see which one sounds better….now I feel a bit confused.)
