Lecke

Tegnap volt magyar lecke magyarórám volt. Ezt van nehéz (volt). Három nappal ezelőtt volt matematika lecke órám volt. Ez van könnyű (volt).

Lecke (as a synonym of <em>házi feladat</em>) = homework.

Lecke (as a chapter in a textbook) = lesson.

Óra (as a class at school; instruction) = lesson.

If you're making a statement about the difficulty of a class/lesson in general, you can use the present tense (the verb <em>van</em> is omitted). --> <em>Ez nehéz/könnyű</em>.

On the other hand, if you wanted to express that that particular class/lesson was easy/difficult, you could write it in the past tense (with the verb <em>volt</em>). --> <em>Ez nehéz volt/könnyű volt</em>.

Some suggestions:

If you learned alone, you can write instead of "magyarórám volt": "magyarul tanultam"

"magyaróra" = Hungarian lesson in school
