A long term unemployed man’s everyday routine Hi again, dear fellows. Today I'm going to try and explain briefly what a single day of mine looks like. Although I've been on the dole for the last two years, I still get up when my hard-working wife does - at 8:30 or so. While she's taking a shower, I'm preparing breakfast, which normally consists in coffee with soy milk, orange juice and some toasts. After breakfast she goes to work and I begin, of course, battling English language. I usually dedicate it all the morning, with some soft physical exercises in the breaks. About midday I prepare some lunch and then we have it depending on my wife’s lunch break. Many times, in attempt to fight away drowsiness, I go out for a large stroll after lunch. To make the most of my time I’m almost always listening to BBC Radio while I’m walking. Once back home I spare a couple of hours scrutinizing all job offers that I find in various renowned job search websites, taking up again English studying later on. On the evening I usually pick up my wife when she finishes working and from time to time we’re having then some beer in a pub in the neighbourhood, always choosing one of those that offers vegan shack options, too. Other times we stay at home, watching TV or seeing a movie on DVD. Almost always we go to bed not earlier than 1:00 am and that makes the next morning awakening a bit tough. And so on, day after day…
