Is Colombia really the new miss "Universe" Is Colombia really the new miss "Universe" Dear friends, how is it possible that a beautiful woman can be more gorgeous than another beautiful woman? This idea it seems very strange for me. Any girl inside that contest that can win, it's already very beautiful. They are all beauty pageants for God sake. Is it the intelligence or the personality that makes the difference, the magnetic "charisma" that voodoo us all? Or perhaps it's our programmed perceptions of who we should consider to be beautiful? How we can judge a beauty pageant by a 1 minute question and a 45 seconds answer? Which in fact we can't truly judge others by the words, their titles or prestige, but with their actions. Some people can speak beautiful... like politicians, but they are just words if we don't commit into action. "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", remember? A woman will be the most beautiful, until another one with more symmetry, more youth or self confidence will take over. The only reason why your wife is not beautiful anymore, is because you are comparing her physically with some other female. If you wife was the only woman in the whole world between all men, you will feel the happiest man on Earth. And it doesn't matter how beautiful your wife is, if you keep comparing physically; you will always get trick by another woman, an another, an another. It's an illusion that brings suffering to your life. But of course that's relative. Because we have different perceptions, base on our experiences and printed belief systems, which has been inserted in our memories since early age. The perfect example would be this: A person might say: Wow... She's so gorgeous!, she looks like a "Barbie!!!" (a plastic doll imprint?) Perceptions are everything!!! Those are the illusions that keep our minds without seeing the truth, it's what keep us stock in the personal reality that we are living. If the media tell us that we need to look like an Italian CQ model or a Barbie doll, then we might feel pretentious if we are, or probably feel worthless if we are not. The same will happens if the news or the movies, will make us believe to be like someone else, like movie stars, singers, sport players or the rich and famous. He's the tricky part, most of us are not models, famous singers, actors or wealthy sport players. The media want you to believe that, so you don't realize who you really are, and discover the great power within yourself. This is not a beauty pageant contest, this is

This is not a beauty pageant contest, this is not a matter of Colombian pride my friends...it's mere politics. The question is: Why Colombia? Are there big time foreign investors coming to town?
