Blizzard Today, it snowed a lot in this afternoon. I did not expect today's ugly weather, because I rarely watch TV. So, I was surprised to look the snow storm through the window in the laboratory. Our boss ordered us to go home, just in case. At 3pm, it snowed up to 5 cm. The road was crowed. Some cars had skidded. And the bus I wanted to get in was out of order...There was nothing I can do. Fortunately, the subway was running. I took a train to get home. According to CNN, "The first big storm of the year may drop up to 3 feet of snow on Boston and New York before it ends Tuesday, with freezing rain and strong wind gusts possibly reaching 70 mph." [http://www.cnn.com/2015/01/26/us/weather-storm/index.html] I'm anxious about the weather in the midnight. If possible, I hope it will not snow... I don't walk on a road covered with snow or ice.

I did not expect today's ugly weather, because I rarely watch TV. So, I was surprised to look see the snow storm through the window in the laboratory.
Our boss ordered (you can say "ordered" but I prefer "told" - it is still a command, but it seems less forceful) us to go home, just in case. At 3pm, it snowed up to 5 cm. The road was crowed (What was the road?  Crowded?  Closed? Covered in snow?). Some cars had skidded. And the bus I wanted to get in ("on" - though now that I think about it, why do we get "on" a bus in English?  "In" seems a lot more accurate.) was out of order...There was nothing I can could (past tense) do.
Fortunately, the subway was running. I took a train to get home.

I'm anxious about the weather in the midnight ("tonight" / "at night" / "during the night" / "at midnight"(12 am, specifically)). If possible, I hope it will not snow... I don't want to walk on a road covered with snow or ice.

Our boss ordered (see Kate's comment) us to go home, just in case. At 3pm, it snowed up to 5 cm. The road was crowded. ("There was heavy traffic," maybe?) Some cars had skidded, and (more natural to combine these two sentences) the bus I wanted to get on was out of order...There was nothing I could do.
Fortunately, the subway was running. I took a train to get home.

I'm anxious about the weather at night (see Kate's comment). If possible, (できれば?) I hope it will not snow... I don't want to walk on a road covered with snow or ice.
