Solidarity and Saint George's roses It is known that in Catalonia Saint George is celebrated gifting roses to women, but it is unknown that a school from Badalona takes profit of that to show its solidarity. During four months students make roses with modeling clay which would be sold during Saint Geoge's day. Although this is a tough work, they have another: the classes are divided into groups of four and each group has to meet and make a presentation of a different NGO. This presentation include a NGO conference in which they have to explain what they would do if the pupils decide to give them the money collected in the roses' sale. When presentations finished students are called to polls to vote their favourite NGO project. The winner would receive all the money collected in the sale. Let me explain that are the same students who are in charge of the roses' sale in Sant George' day. Gratitude letters form NGO and famous people (to who are sent roses for free to male the project known) are published in the school magazine.

Very well done.

You can say "this is tough work" or "this is a tough job".

A couple of other suggestions:

"...which would be sold during Saint George's day" would sound better if you said "...which are sold on St George's Day"

"The winner would receive all the money" would sound better as "The winner receives all the money".

"to whom are sent roses for free" sounds rather formal (although it is grammatically correct). Another way you could say it is "who receive roses for free to help publicise the project".
