Please help to correct these SENTENCES if they have GRAMMAR mistakes [1] 1. It is commonly believed that doing exercises regularly can boost people’s confidence, because experiencing the challenges associated with physical activities can make them learn how to overcome any difficulties. 2. It proves that the excessive reliance on calculators can have an adverse impact on children’s mental arithmetic, resulting in intellectual degeneration possibly. As a result, if the calculators were not available one day, they would be unlikely to cope with the problems related to numbers. 3. Majority of women are reluctant to find job opportunities in male-dominated world, because they are unwilling to be bound by gender discrimination. 4. A focus of public concern, nowadays, is the environment degradation, with the conflicting view on whether it is the responsibility of human beings. 5. The excessive exposure to TV programs has adversely influences on children’s eyesight, so parents and teachers should make an effort to limit their time on watching TV. 6. The arts are not among obligatory/compulsory courses, but they deserve a place in curriculum because these subjects nurture children artistic taste, which is also measured in the all-round education. 7. The unemployment in countryside, to some extent, can be addressed by the rural-to-urban shift. It means that surplus rural labors can be transferred to cities to support urban construction. 8. The job market is vulnerable to economic downturn. Enterprises are most likely to cut labor use deliberately, aiming at break-even objective. As a consequence, it leads to a climbing unemployment rate.
