Slamming Doors I miss the old days. I used to explode like a volcano when I got angry and it was OK with people around me. Kids are allowed to express their feelings, no need for managing different feelings. Parents usually try to train their kids' temper because they don't want their children to get into trouble. As we grow up, we realize where some feelings may lead us to, so we learn how to count to ten. I mean we start to be in charge and take control. I want to become a volcano kid again! I want to slam the door, punch the wall, scream at someone or break something! Life was easier in the old days. Have a nice day!

Slamming Doors

I miss the old days. I used to explode like a volcano when I got angry, and it was OK with the people around me. Kids are allowed to express their feelings, no need for managing different emotions. Parents usually try to train their kids to control their temper because they don't want their children to get into trouble. As we grow up, we realize where some feelings may lead us to, so we learn how to count to ten. I mean we start to be in charge and take control.

I want to become a volcano kid again! I want to slam the door, punch the wall, scream at someone or break something! Life was easier in the old days.

Have a nice day!

You write beautifully. I am so sorry. There probably are not a lot of safe places for Palestinian adults to go and express emotions. I have never been there, but from what I have read, it is not where I would suggest for a volcano adult.

I have often wanted to explode as a teacher, especially in England, but we have to be 'professional'. I'd rather be human and have the odd explosion! Hope things are as well as can be with you Arwa.

My nerves are directly connected with the hours of sleeping... so I am trying to improve the "count to ten" technique.
