I have seen this word “šminka” a lot on social media when I translated it; it comes up as makeup/grease.
Is this a compliment or something?
I don’t know what region it’s from? but I think it’s used in Serbia and Bosnia!

Većina žena nosi šminku. Most women wear makeup.
It is a word for makeup, and it is used in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia.

šminka = cosmetics, makeup
Šminkati se = to make up, to apply cosmetics
Ona se šminka = She is putting her makeup on.
Našminkati nekoga = To make somebody up.
