An easy way to learn Arabic vocabulary After learning some words as a beginner, you may have noticed that some words share some kind of pattern. e.g : كاتب (kaateb) = writer / مكتب (maktab) = office - desk / مكتبة (maktaba) = library They do follow a clear pattern right ? do you notice the common letters (ك ت ب) ? This is called root, which is the origin of the Arabic vocabularies. So, if you find difficulties learning new words, I suggest you start learning words that seem close to each other. e.g : you learnt the word : طبَخَ ('T'a-ba-kha) = To cook / he cooked Now you can learn : طبَّاخ ('T'ab-baakh) = a cook And : مطبخ (Ma'T'bakh) = Kitchen Now when you hear the word طبخ, you'll think immediately of the other two words, طبَّاخ and مطبخ. I hope this will be helpful to resolve your arabic vocabulary problem.
