To expand a little bit Specialist's answer. The reason why you don't use を with すき it's because, unlike English, Spanish and plenty of other languages, すき is an adjective and not a verb, so は or が are used. Don't forget that! Though it is worth noting that in colloquial speech you do hear JP speakers say things like きみをすき. And there are debates about that. But for now stick to the は/が + すき structure :).
