Singular o plural? 1. Los mejores alumnos ………...(asistir) a todas las clases sin faltar a ninguna. La Cruz Roja……..….(asistir) a los heridos en acciones bélicas. I am frequently confused whether to conjugate a verb in the singular or the plural. In the first case I understand it has to be plural asisten because the students are plural. However, in the second part of the sentence the Red Cross is singular however it is helping more than one person that is hurt. So would it be La Cruz Roja asiste a los heridos or would it be La Cruz Roja asisten (plural)

Pero el sujeto de la oración se conjuga como singular, la Cruz Roja se conjuga como singular sin importar la cantidad de personas sobre las que recae la acción.
