I Ran on My Bike Into A Car and Flew Over It! I have done many crazy things in my life, but I always wanted to do them safe and survive! I was young, inexperienced and wanted to enjoy my life. One day, when I went for a ride with my mates, I realized that my bike brakes weren't working well. I decided to continue my ride and to repair them when I get home. Our ride was good and I enjoyed it! We have rode more than 60 km in just 2 hours and we wanted to ride more. This situation repeated many times and a problem was just behind a door. My brakes finally backfired. It was usual ride like every time. We went out of velodrome right on the road and followed our leader. We were used to jumping over tram rails (Otherwise we get stuck in them and fall on the ground.), ride between cars in the rush hours and riding behind a bus in a distance of 10 centimeters (approx 3 inches). Yes, that close to the bus, trolleybus or car, that was and is still typical for us! It is safe distance actually, because when car or bus slows down, then we just shave off its bumper and try to leave as soon and as fast as possible! It isn't good and I don't do it to new cars, but just to old and unkempt cars. Anyway, we went to a zebra crossing and stopped. There was a driving school car in front of us and we were group of 16 cyclists, so we just decided to use "zip method" and to pass the car on its right side, near the railing and pavement. Everything went smooth until I had to take a turn and pass the car. My bike was moving fast and I was just checking my pedals, because I was unable to fasten my shoe into it, when I saw that driving school car in front of me stopping. I grabbed the brakes and... nothing I was hardly slowing down and the car in front of me was closer and closer. There was no space to move my bike to so I ran into the car, flew over it and felt on the ground. I flew approx 5 meters with my bike attached to my shoes (because of pedals) and I lost my consciousness for a few seconds. When I woke up, 1 meter in front of the car and 1,5 meter on the right of the car, I saw and heard driving school instructor saying: "You should look where you go." Then he rolled up the window and disappeared. I stood up as fast as possible, jumped on the bike and tried to continue my ride. I was so bruised so I was unable to ride more than 3 kilometers. Then I stopped and called my mother for help. It was terrible experience! Pavel

I Ran on My Bike Into A Car on My Bike and Flew Over It! ("to run into" is a phrase that should not be separated)

I have done many crazy things in my life, but I always wanted to do them safely (adverb) and survive! I was young, inexperienced, and wanted to enjoy my life. One day, when I went for a ride with my mates, I realized that my bike brakes weren't working well. I decided to continue my ride and to repair them when I get home. Our ride was good and I enjoyed it! We have rode more than 60 km in just 2 hours and we wanted to ride more. This situation repeated itself many times and a problem was just behind a door, but a problem was just around the corner. ("just behind a door" is not an idiom in English. I think you mean "just around the corner".) My brakes finally backfired.

It was usual ride like every time. We went out of velodrome right onto the road and followed our leader. We were used to jumping over tram rails (Otherwise we get stuck in them and fall on the ground.), riding between cars in the rush hours and riding behind a bus within (or "at a distance", whichever you mean) a distance of 10 centimeters (approx 3 inches). Yes, that close to the bus, trolleybus, or car, that was and is still typical for us! It is a safe distance actually, because when a car or bus slows down, then we just shave off its bumper and try to leave as soon and as fast as possible! It isn't good and I don't do it to new cars, but just to old and unkempt cars. Anyway, we went to a zebra crossing and stopped. There was a driving school car in front of us and we were a group of 16 cyclists, so we just decided to use the "zip method" and to pass the car on its right side, near the railing and pavement. Everything went smoothly (adverb) until I had to take a turn and pass the car.

My bike was moving fast and I was just checking my pedals, because I was unable to fasten my shoe into it, when I saw that the driving school car in front of me was stopping. (you could say "I saw the car stopping" or "I saw that the car was stopping") I grabbed the brakes and... nothing. I was hardly slowing down, and the car in front of me was getting closer and closer. There was no space to move my bike into, so I ran into the car, flew over it and felt fell on the ground. I flew approx 5 meters with my bike attached to my shoes (because of the pedals) and I lost my consciousness for a few seconds. When I woke up, 1 meter in front of the car and 1,5 1.5 meters on to the right of the car, I saw and heard the driving school instructor saying: "You should look where you are going." Then he rolled up the window and disappeared. I stood up as fast as possible, jumped on the bike and tried to continue my ride. I was so bruised so that I was unable to ride more than 3 kilometers. Then I stopped and called my mother for help. It was a terrible experience!

Goodness! What a story.

Just for my future reference, is this format for correction easier to read?
