Nelson Mandela's book Ch. 40: Quick notes

The trial ended and suddenlty Nelson Mandela became a celebrity.
A man who everyone could recognize the face and know the his story. (Or maybe better: A man with a face that everyone could recognise and remember his story. Or: A man with a recognisable face that reminds you of his story.)

But Mandela was restless. He didn't want to stand out, He i he wanted to be invisible instead. He started working late at night, holding secret meetings and pay attention to taking care to avoid not attracting people's attention. (or anyone's attention)

He was living a shadowy life.
