Why I'm on italki?
Two days ago I went to Krakow with my sister. I go there twice a month to a calligraphy course. Kracow is 150km far from my home, so usually I write on Facebook to ask if there is somebody who wants to go with me (a lot of high-school's students travel to/from Cracow). Today a boy wrote to me asking if he could go back with me. We talked about a lot of things: school, job, dreams, life's goals. We also talked about languages - my sister wants to learn spanish, but there isn't a language school teaching this language. Then this boy told me about italki.com. It was something new and interesting for me so I decided to try it. I learnt English and Italian at school, but it was few years ago and I have forgotten alot of it. I work in Czech Republic so I also can have a great opportunity to learn this language. Furthermore I'm a Polish teacher so maybe I'll help somebody with my native language.
Interesting piece :-)
I too live about 130 km from Krakow, but to the East of Krakow. A very interesting beautiful part of the world.
