A history story using words: Vase, sign, car, door...
Besides to study studying here and in other internet places sites such as YouTube and Duolingo, I'm also taking English classes of english with a native speaker.
During my last class, my teacher, a Nigerian man, challenged me to create a history story using some random words. Then I asked:
- What words?
So he answered:
- Vase, sign, car, door, grass, bed, portrait, son
At the time I did not even know where to start, so I decided to try now in Italki. Let's go there:
I need to fix my car, because I need/am going to use it more late later, to take two vases for to my aunt's apartment.
Besides fixing the engine, I also will have to take a look at the left rear door, because it's become it was dented after when I beat lightly/slightly crashed the car at into a tree after skidding on some a washed wet grass.
If I had been following the signs I believe that nothing bad would have happened of this had been happening, because I saw at least four signs asking warning drivers to reduce the speed.
But, all right, I always heard hear from my friends that having a car is like having a son, in other words we have to spend a lot of money, so I'm just seeing that it's they really speak the truth.
When I arrived at the mechanicsal I saw an old portrait over above an still even older shelf in the right corner of the office. In this portrait had a picture of was a bed with a beautiful women on it. Maybe it was her(? or his?) daughter or her wife, I don't know, however more important to me is that my car was ready and I could finally can go out and take the vases to my aunt.
Well I believe that I have used every words.
