Cervical Spondylosis My father has a big belly and my mother has a flabby tum. They are in their fourties. Never in the past have they developed a habit for regular exercises, except walking and walking dogs. I asked my parents to lose weight especially the fats in the belly, which usually indicate a fatty liver. They were reluctant at the beginning - I knew they were indoor creatures as I was. Fortunately, after watching 10 Things You Need to Know about Losing Weight, the BBC documentary that I recommended, they were finally persuaded! However, my mother had a serious cervical spondylosis because of long hours' desk-bound work in the past. After quitting her previous job and receiving appropriate treatments, the symptoms decreased a lot. But she still couldn't do high intensity exercises. She even felt faint after doing crunches. Maybe she can only do leg-based motions. Now I find another reason for doing exercises(I was never a fan of sports), that is to prevent possible cervical spondylosis, the patients of which are getting younger in China these years. Thank you for any corrections and any tips for the middle-aged to do exercises.

Cervical Spondylosis

My father has a big belly and my mother has a flabby tum tummie/abdomin. They are in their fourties forties. Never in the past have they developed a habit for regular exercises, except walking and walking dogs.

I asked my parents to lose weight especially the fats in the belly belly fat, which usually indicates a fatty liver.

Now I find another reason for doing exercises(I was never a fan of sports), that is to prevent possible cervical spondylosis, the patients of which are getting younger in China these years nowadays/lately/in the past few years.

Thank you for any corrections and any tips for the middle-aged to do exercises.
