My favorite sports star-Yao Ming My favorite sports star is one of China’s best-known athletes in the world-Yao Ming.Actually,my first impression of him is just a man who are very tall and good at basketball and always looks serious.Besides of it,I don’t have any other ideas.One day,I happened to watch a realistic show called “Dad,where are we going”on TV .He attended it as a guest.I found that he showed another aspect of him which is unfamiliar with the public.He had a big and charming smile many times in that program and he liked children very much,you know,there was a child and every people called her “jiejie”in chinese ,and in English ,it means “elder sister”.Her father also called that name.Well,when Yao called her “jiejie” ,with touching her head in that program.You can’t imagine that this so tall man called such a small little girl “jiejie”.It’s weird but I think it also showed his lovely side. After I saw this program,he appealed me and I looked for his information on Internet.I know that Yao played for the Houston Rockets of NBA from 2002 to 2011.But now he step out of the NBA due to a series of foot and ankle injuries and he become the boss of Shanghai Sharks basketball team and spends more time on charity.
