Many countries there are different customs, in Europe for ejemplo, womans given 2 kiss, and also, they are very formal when they meet someone.
On the other hand, in America, people's gretting more informal and they shake hands or kissing but with one kiss in case for women. People in both countries are so warm and friendly

in the USA you had better know a woman pretty well before you try and kiss her, or you might get hit. kissing is not a common gretting unless you are dating or married, in the usa even kissing a womans hand will get you some blushing and shocked expression along with giggles if you are meeting some one for the first time. honsetly americans tend to be more afraid  of germs then many countrys.
