저는 과거에 몇 개의 언어들를 공부했어요. 아르헨티나 여행 가기전에 스페인어를 공부를 시작했어요. 필요한 만큼의 스페인어를 배우었서워서 5주 동안 거기서 살았어요. 택시, 버스, 지하철 다 탈 수 있었고 식당에서 음식도 주문하고 시장도 갈 수 있었어요. 그리고 관심이 비슷한 사람들과 상황에서 쉬운 대화를 할 수 있었어요.
In the past I have studied a few languages. I started studying spanish before going on a trip to Argentina. I learned enough spanish to live there for 5 weeks. I could take taxis buses and subways, order food in restaurants and go grocery shopping. I could also make some basic conversation in situations with people who have common interests.

I became interested in Japanese because of a friend and studied off and on for a few years but i still can't speak it except for a few basic expressions.

I became interested in learning Korean because I became friends with some Koreans I met at a dance studio i go to often.

“Fluent in 3 Months”라는 책을 읽었어요. 다양한 제가 공부했던 언어 공부할 언어는 중에서 저를 유창하게 할수 있는게 없어요. 결코 안 되었어요. 그러니까 그래서 이 방법이을 보고 싶은 것 시도해보기로 결정했어요. 그리고 제가 정한 목표는 유창하게 말하는 사람 되게 이 되는 것입니다. (책은 한국어 번역 있어요.)
I had read a book called “Fluent in 3 Months”. Because I have never become fluent in any of the languages I studied, I decided I wanted to try this method. And I made it a goal to become a fluent speaker. (The book is also available in a Korean translation).

전 과거에 몇 개의 언어를 공부했어요. 아르헨티나에 여행을 가기전에는 스페인어 공부를 시작했지요. 전 거기에서 다섯 주 동안 살 수 있을 만큼 스페인어를 공부했어요. (제 스페인어 실력으로는) 택시, 버스 그리고 지하철을 타는 것과 음식 주문 그리고 장보기도 할 수 있었어요. 공통의 관심사를 가진 사람들과 기본적인 대화를 나누는 것 또한 할 수 있었어요.
