Celebrate The Lantern Festival “The Lantern Festival” also calls"YuanXiao" in China at Jan. 15 (Lunar) each year.Its coming means the end of Spring Festival. Today,every families will eat a special food-YuanXiao(calls in North China) or TangYuan(calls in South China) to help the "Girl of YuanXiao" to go home because she miss her parents too much(Chinese Myth). After dinner,they will go out to view the beauty of moon(if the sky is brilliant),fire the fireworks and solve riddles. PS:Don't forget to watch the lantern festival evening event. ;( Tomorrow will go to college, not happy~! Wish everyone Happy The Lantern Festival! William.Do

Celebrate The Lantern Festival

“The Lantern Festival” known as "YuanXiao" in China falls on Jan. 15 each year (on the lunar calendar). Its coming means the end of the Spring Festival.

Today, every families will eat a special food known as YuanXiao in Northern China and TangYuan in Southern China to help the "Girl of YuanXiao" go home because she misses her parents too much (this is according to a Chinese legend).

After dinner, everyone goes outside to appreciate the beauty of the moon (if the sky is clear), light up fireworks, and solve riddles.

PS:Don't forget to watch the lantern festival evening event.
