책이 많아요 오늘에 제 동료는 저한테 책을 빌렸어요. 좀 이상해요. 저는 그를 숙지 잘 못해요. 제가 독서를 좋아하지만 그는 어떻게 알아요? 저는 책을 안 묻어요. He just gave it to me. 또 책을 제 스타일이에요. 책은 'Outliers'라고 있어요. 이 책을 저는 읽고 싶었어요. 지금은 제가 독사를 필요해요. 저는 'The History of Korea'를 읽고 있어요. 그리고 방금에 메시지를 도서관한테서 받았어요. 도서관에 책은 저를 기다리고 있어요. 책은 많는데 시간이 없어요. Extra help please... '이 책을 저는 읽고 싶었어요.' How do I turn this sentence into present perfect tense? I want to put emphasis that I wanted to read this book long ago and still do. "I have been wanting to read this book."

책이 많아요

오늘에 제 동료는 저한테 책을 빌렸어요. 좀 이상해요. 저는 그를 숙지 잘 못해요. 제가 독서를 좋아하지만 그는 어떻게 알아요? 저는 책을 안 묻어요. He just gave it to me. 또 책을 제 스타일이에요. 책은 'Outliers'라고 있어요. 이 책을 저는 읽고 싶었어요. 지금은 제가 독사를 필요해요. 저는 'The History of Korea'를 읽고 있어요. 그리고 방금에 메시지를 도서관한테서 받았어요. 도서관에 책은 저를 기다리고 있어요. 책은 많는데 시간이 없어요.

First, let me answer your 'Extra help plz' question. We don't actually have perfect tense in Korean like you guys have in English. So, if I want to say that I wanted to read this book long ago and still do, then I would say '정말 오래전부터 이 책을 읽고 싶었어'  This sentense acutally doesn't say you're still want to read, but most ppl immediately notice that or understand that you haven't read that book yet and still want to read that book. Or you can give more details in the sentence '정말 오래전부터 이 책을 읽고 싶었는데, 아직도 읽어보지 못 했어.'

Second, your short paragragh about the book is not quiet accurate. So it is little bit hard to understand what you're trying to say, but I just do my best.

오늘 제 동료가 저한테 책을 빌려갔어요. 조금 이상한 점은, 그 동료랑 저는 서로 잘 아는 사이가 아니라는 거에요. 제가 독서를 좋아하긴 하지만, 그 동료가 어떻게 그 사실을 알았죠? 저는 책을 안 묻어요.(not make sense at all) 그 동료가 그냥 저에게 그것을 주었어요.(He just gave it to me) 그 책은 제가 좋아하는 스타일의 책이에요. '아웃라이어'라는 책인데 오래전부터 저는 이 책을 읽고 싶어했어요. 요즘 저에게 가장 필요한 것은 독서라고 생각해요. 저는 'The History of Korea'라는 책을 읽고 있어요. 그리고 방금 도서관에서 메시지를 받았어요. 메세지 내용은 제가 보고 싶은 책이 도서관에 들어왔다는 내용이였어요. 많은 책들이 저에게 읽히기를 기다리고 있어요. 책은 많은데 시간이 없어요.

저는 실했어요. ㅠㅠ haha. Thank you for trying. Here's what I was trying to say: 저는 그를 잘 알지 못해요. = I don't know him well. 저는 (그에게) 을 부탁한적이 없어요. = I didn't ask (him) for the book.

책이 도서관에 저를 기다리고 있어요. = The book is waiting for me at the library. Thank you so much for all your help!

The book is waiting for me at the library

도서관에 (저의,제) 책이 있다고  이게 문장에서 더 부드러운 표현이되요

Hi, Andrea. There's no such a rule that 빌리다 is tone of command and 빌려주다 is for a request. You can use 빌리다 in both ways. 너 그 남자한테 책 빌려.(command) 너 그 남자한테 책 빌릴래?(request) Detailed context could make these tones of voice more clearly and what the speaker implies, but you can use 빌리다 in either a commanding or requesting sentence by changing the ending of the verb properly. Let's make these two moods using 빌려주다. Command: 나한테 그 책 빌려줘. Request: 나한테 그 책 빌려줄래?
