Bar chart exercise The bar chart illustrates different participation of 5 to 14-year-old boys and girls in five selected pastimes in Australia. It is immediately clear that the most popular leisure activity among this age group is watching TV or videos. All children spend their free time in this way and it is true for both boys and girls. The next most popular activity is playing electronic or computer games enjoyed by 80 per cent of boys and 60 per cent of girls. The percentages of girls taking part in bike riding and art & craft are similar, accounting for 60 percent, while only two fifths of boys enjoy it. Skateboarding or rollerblading comes last in terms of popularity. Two out of five boys like it compared to approximately three in ten girls. From this chart we could see that except for art and craft, boys' participation is greater in these activities than that of girls.

Hi Tian, This is well written and doesn't really need a correction. You have very carefully quoted some percentages but also used other descriptive terms. This is good because the reader does not want to be overwhelmed by statistics. Almost always, if the number is less than 11, write the word. For numbers 11 and higher, you can either write the number like '60' or the word like 'sixty'. Whichever you choose, stick with it.
