Education exercise Being bilingual seems more and more important in the hyper-competitive society. In China, it is trendy to send children to learn a foreign language at their early age. Some experts suggest that it is better to begin learning it at primary school rather than secondary school. Although it has some disadvantages, I believe that its advantages basically outweigh them. People against this suggestion may argue that adding lessons for a foreign language at primary school will pose much pressure on students in their childhood. Children will get more homework and study tasks. Besides, teachers in primary school probably have not been trained specifically to teach foreign languages. They may not be able to help children have a good start. If parents want to choose a more qualified primary school in terms of the ability to teach foreign languages, they may face fiancial burdens. However, it has more advantages. It is discovered that early exposure to a foreign language will help people be more proficient in this language than others. The main reason is that young children are less afraid of making mistakes than teenagers. It is easier for them to accept a foreign language and they are willing to use it in daily life. Children can also gain a good understanding of other cultures. Moreover, scientific researches have reported that learning more than one language can benefit in the development of children's early intelligence. Hence, I think the benefits of letting children begin foreign language learning at primary school rather than secondary school outweigh its drawbacks. But I hope the education policy could be upgraded to improve the teaching abilities of primary school teachers and help children increase their language skills with less stress.

Hi Tian, very well done.

Your use of the word "it" in the first paragraph, while gramatically correct, is hard to follow because it is not clear what "it" is referring to. So I have replaced the "it"s with the articles.

Most of the other corrections are to show the way an Aussie would write it.
