problems learning english Now that I have a lot of free time I would like to make progress with my English. Sometimes I feel that I am not moving forward at all and it annoys me very much. I just want my English to improve and when it happens at last, people notice it. there are still some moments where I am embarrassed to speak in English and I don't know why, I can't find a explication. Perhaps it is because of the lack of practice. In my English class it seems to be than my teacher speaks much more than the students. It is like listening to a monologue in English. It is fine to have the chance to listening to foreign speakers, that is for sure, but I guess he should give us more space to express ourselves

Hi Sara, If your teacher is always speaking more than his/her students then I think he/she is not a particularly good (language) teacher. It is vital that students are actively involved in as many discussions as possible in a language class, even in the very beginning. I am lucky to have a good Spanish teacher that way, she interacts very well with her students. Have you asked your teacher about this?

Sara, Keep up your good work in learning English and please do not loose faith. Keep your smile and be patient. Learning a new language is never easy, but with hard work and devotion you will succeed. Your teacher seems to be a lively person. Have you thought about talking to him about the fact that you would like to have more time to express yourself during a class? I would highly recommend you do so if you have not done so, so far! Keep your smile :) Have a great day!

Problems learning english

Now that I have a lot of free time, I would like to make progress with my English. Sometimes I feel that I am not moving forward at all and it annoys me very much. I just want my English to improve and I want people to notice it when that happens.
There are still some moments where I am embarrassed to speak in English and I don't know why. I can't find an explanation. Perhaps it's because I am not practicing enough.
