Ah I see. Do you know which tree it is? Could it be a plum tree? Yesterday we went to a local shrine and there was a plum tree that was in bloom already. I wish I knew more about Japanese trees as I heard there are quite a few different species here that we do not have in the UK.

Markさん、Thank you for your comment. Actually, this cherry tree is not Someiyoshino which is an ordinary one in Japan. This tree blooms earlier. I hope you'll see full bloom of cherry blossoms soon.
