Hi! If a person asks us (me and a friend of mine) who is going to drive, is the following answer correct?

A: Who is going to drive?
B: Him

 

Ans: It is correct if your interlocuter points to the person in question. You can also say "he is". Bear in mind it is quite informal language.

If a person asks you and your friend who is going to drive, the right answer is - He (is).
