The Points Of View About 3 Departments of Medicine I'd been working as a neurosurgeon while I was a resident. Working in an university hospital, I had to cooperate with residents of all kinds of departments to help my patients a better treatment and could figure out their various characters which were entirely different on each departments. The depatment that I recieved support mostly in treating patients was internal medicine. Because most patients of my field have a character who are old-aged people and have chronic illness that have to treat in internal medicine. Internal medicine doctors is well known to people that internal medicine doctors are very smart and knowledgeable. However, like a quote "Knowledge is a poison", they tend to avoid aggressive treatments and hesitate to make a decision. In short, they have a character of "civil servant" that it would take millions and millions of years to do anything. Another department associated with me deeply was an orthopedic surgery. Because most of patients who be taken an injury of the brain were usually accompanied by lots of injury of the limbs. Generally many doctors call orthopedic surgeon carpenters, I totally agree with this saying when I always watch doing their surgery. When it comes to their life style, they have their own strict rules especially clothes rule that they have to button all kinds of wearing including gown, shirt, everything. There is no exception for just one button. They seem to think that keeping their a strict dress code is a virtue. I used to call them "Samsung Man", who is a symbol of diligence and standardization. On the other hand, my field, neurosurgery has an unique dress code : undoing 2 upper bottons of shirt and never bottoning an white gown. We always had lack of sleep. Because there are a lot of emergency operations every night. Our dress code was likely to be intended to be shown that we are always busy and tired, however we always do our best. Some collegues said that our gown flapping is cool when we run quickly. And we used to say loudly when we sew patients. Because our patients didn't have a clear consciousness, we had to do that. This actions became our habbits that we always said at any places. Sadly, this is the reason why the other doctors used to call us "Mafia"

The Points Of View About 3 Departments of Medicine

I WAS working as a neurosurgeon while I was a resident.(while I was a resident I did a neurosurgery rotation) Working in an university hospital, I had to cooperate (WORK)with residents of VARIOUS departments IN ORDER to help my patients GET THE BEST treatment. I HAD TO ASSESS THE various SKILLSETS which were entirely different FOR each department.

The depatment that I recieved support mostly in treating MY patients was internal medicine; most patients IN MY FIELD ARE ELDERLY and have chronic illnessES that have to BE treatED BY internal medicine. Internal medicine PHYSICIANS ARE  well known to BE very smart and knowledgeable. However, like THE quote "Knowledge is a poison", they tend to avoid aggressive treatments and hesitate to make a decision. In short, they have THE QUALITIES of  THE "civil servant"  AND THAT MEANS that it would take millions and millions of years FOR THEM to do anything.

Another department THAT I WAS CLOSELY ASSICIATED WITH WAS orthopedic surgery. THIS IS because most patients who HAVE an injury of the brain ARE usually accompanied by MULTIPLE INJURIES of the limbs. Generally many doctors call orthopedic surgeon carpenters, I totally agree with this saying ESPECIALLY AFTER OBSERVIN their surgery. When it comes to their APPEARANCE, they have their own strict DRESS CODE.  WHEN IT COMES TO ALL TYPES OF CLOTHING rhere is no exception for just one button. They seem to think that keeping TO a strict dress code is a virtue. I used to call them "Samsung Man", WHICH is a symbol of diligence and standardization.

On the other hand, my field, neurosurgery has an unique dress code : undoing 2 upper bUttons of THE shirt and never bUottoning a white gown. We always had A lack of sleep.THE REASON IS Because there are a lot of emergency operations every night. Our dress code was likely to be intended to be shown that we are always busy and tired, however we always do our best. Some collegues sAY that our flapping GOWN is cool when we run quickly. WE SPEAK IN A LOUD VOICE  when we seE patients because our patients OFTEN dON't have FULL consciousnesS.  ThESE actions became our HABits that WE USED IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. Sadly, this is the reason why the other doctors used to call us "Mafia"
