What I learned today I see what you mean but, To be honest, All in all, Yes, but the problem is, The point I am trying to make is, I really think, Basically, The thing is, What I don’t understand is, If you ask me, In my opinion, On the whole, Actually, The worst thing is, In fact, Do you see what I mean? I think so, I don’t think so, I agree up to a point but, Do you agree with me? Am I making myself clear? I am not quite sure, How about you? I am under the impression that, Yes, that’s exactly what I mean, If I were in this situation, I wholeheartedly agree, How about you?

I see what you mean, and agree up to a point, but to be honest I think your wrong.

All in all, I know what you mean, but the problem is your wrong.

The point I am trying to make is, there is no point...
I really think you should go away.
Basically, your wrong.
The thing is you don't understand.
What I don’t understand is how you are so.....
If you ask me, i'll tell you the truth and you won't like it.
In my opinion, (you might see IMHO) on the internet meaning "In my humble opinion" - when he person is not been humble at all.

 

I guess my point is these kinds of everyday phrases are often used in a funny way....:)
