Why do people travel? It is a well-known fact that in modern society many people dream about travelling, because they could gain a fascinating new experience and help to escape from every day routine. Besides, public transports, such as the bus, the trains and the flights, become common and convenient, as a result, the travelling become easily and frequently Due to this fact, the living standards of people become higher and travelling become affordable for the public, more and more people, especially individuals who has been retired, can go whenever they want. It is creates a friendly environment for touristic agencies and helps some countries to increase their income. According to my way of thinking, one of the main reasons for travelling is a curiosity and a desire to be mentally agile. It is an open secret, that trying new activities, making new acquaintances, or discovering different cultures and customs is extremely beneficial for one’s intelligence. They say that being able to compare things is essential for gaining wisdom. In addition, our habits and fear of anything new can significantly affect our mental health in a most unpleasant way, making us to become narrow-minded individuals. Additionally, there is an opinion that without change some people become so bored with their everyday routine, without even realizing it, that sometimes it can lead to a suicide! In addition, travelling is one of the most efficient way for employers and employees to do their business successfully around the world. Because travelling allows you communicate to your customers by face-to-face, that is why relationships are becoming much better. Therefore, the success is easier to achieve. In conclusion, taking into account everything mentioned above, it is evident to me that there are many benefits of travelling for the traveler and tourism should be encouraged.
