The last letter (practice: adjectives and adverbs of manners) - Part II As time was passing through, she noticed he was loosing interest in her, his letters started to arrive sparingly, his words were lacking feelings, they were cold as stones. For the first time she felt the distance between them, how different they were and how they nature were so unlike, but she couldn't stop writing. Suddenly the letters just stopped to arrive. She waited every Friday anxiously for the postman. Even she checked out the mail box Saturday morning (letters were never delivered Saturdays morning), but the long-awaited letter never was there. When she was loosing all hope, she saw a the postman leave a letter in her mailbox. She ran frantically to it, her hands were shaking, her heart seems like to be coming out of her body. She held the letter in her hand for several minutes, she was terrified of what was written there. In those minutes all kinds of thoughts crossed her mind... "He was sick, that is why he didn't write sooner", "He was in a huge trouble...and he was unable to write to me". The bad ones also crossed her mind "He doesn't care about me anymore", "He has a new life where I don't a place". Even the worst of all: "He is.... He is.." she rejected at once that thought. She took a deep breath and opened the letter. While she was reading, a tear was dropped.

The last letter (practice: adjectives and adverbs of manners) - Part II

As time passed, she noticed he was losing interest in her, his letters started to arrive sparingly, his words were lacking feelings, they were cold as stones.
For the first time she felt the distance between them, how different they were and how by nature they were so unlike, but she couldn't stop writing.
Suddenly the letters just stopped coming. She waited every Friday anxiously for the postman. Even She even checked out the mail box Saturday morning (letters were never delivered Saturdays morning), but the long-awaited letter never was there.

 Just as
she was losing all hope, she saw a the postman leave a letter in her mailbox. She ran frantically to it, her hands were shaking, her heart seems like it was  coming out of her body.
She held the letter in her hand for several minutes, she was terrified of what was written there. In those minutes all kinds of thoughts crossed her mind...

She took a deep breath and opened the letter. While she was reading, a tear was dropped (better: a tear started to fall or a tear fell). no usamos "drop" con llorar en ingles, pero correcto grammaticalemente
