The above translation of the first sentence, without changing the order of your original structure, it is too stiff and unnatural in Chinese.  A better way to express it would be,

虽然昨晚应该去睡的时候沒有去睡, 但今天醒来的时候是应该起身的时候了. 然后做家务, 留下最好的在最後.
