Why does finding a very good language partner can take so long/ Why does it take so long to find a very good language partner (this is a very roundabout method)?

I joined to Italki around 2 years ago and I have talked with many people, most of whom <em>unfortunately</em> most of them just stopped talking or <em>disappeared w</em>hen I thought that we were going to be very good language pals.

I have talked with girls in most cases, but finding a male partner is even harder. I used to talk with three guys which two of whom just stopped talking to me from one day to another suddenly(?) (meaning is unclear, and I might have changed your original meaning) and never answered.

The other one, whom I chatted with more often, is not learning Spanish though, we used to chat from time to time, but as ,and because he is not a Spanish learner, I'm pretty sure that he will never reply again at least not very soon frequently. (I changed this into a compound-complex sentence.)

I know that people have very much more important things to do than chatting and establishing a friendship with a totally complete <em>stranger</em> , and : some guys just want to talk with girls and some girls are <em>afraid</em> because of all those creepy ones out there... (or, I know that people have more important things to do than to chat with and establish a relationship with strangers. Furthermore, the guys on this site seem to have ulterior motives-- they either just want to talk with girls or are creepy.) 

I changed the tone to a more academic one that most people do not use on a day-to-day basis. I hope you find a good language partner!
