Introduction
Hi, my name is Chalsea. I am from China.My Chinese's name is 吕灿嫦. I was born in DongGuan city, GuangDong province. I can speak Chinese Cantonese and Mandarin. I am new to this website. Now I have a question, I am wondering how English people greet each other when they meet accidentally. Is there someone who can answer me?
I do not entirely understand the question. But, if you are refering to when you see someone you were not expecting to see. We usually say our normal greetings;
Hello, how's it going? or Hi, how are you.
You could say "Hello, I didn't expect to see you, how have you been?"
Hope this helps!
Would usually say normal greetings but also include some phrases like these:
"What a coincidence meeting you here"
"Good to see you"
"Nice running into you"
"Long time no see"
