Hello! Hi, people of italki! I'm french-canadian from Québec, Canada! Here we begin to learn english as a second tongue at a young age, so I'm not a beginer anymore... but I still have big issues with it. I'm looking forward to get better and maybe meet nice people online and learn about other language~

Hello!

Hi, people of italki!
I'm french-canadian from Québec, Canada! Here we begin to learn english as a second tongue at a young age, so I'm not a beginner anymore... but I still have big issues with it. I'm looking forward to getting better, [and] maybe meeting nice people online and learning [about] other language~

I hope this helps!!

Most people were I live are bilingual or talk only french, especially in shops. I'm not confident enough with my vocabulary and pronounciation to actually talk to english speakers. I wish that I can exange with people and come to gain assurance so I can actually be able to travel to the USA or other parts of the Canada without depending on someone.

I hope you achieve all of your goals in connection with your language skills. Some people do this because they feel they have to do it. Others just want to do it. Do you live in a part of Quebec where you don't encounter English speaking people? Maybe you could spend more time at restaurants or shopping to be face-to-face with English speakers.
