Review " Harold and Maude" There are several films I love but I want to write about one I saw a lot of years ago but it is still vivid in my memory. The film is “ Harould and Maude “ . It was realized in the 70’s by the american director Hal Hashby and it obtained a poor commercial success when it was on the screen for the first time. Incredibly during the years it was discovered by many viewers who were interested in alternative way to realize films and it became almost famous everywhere across the world. The story is about a weird friendship between a teenager boy, who was attracted by the idea of the death and bored by the conventions established in a middle class family, and an old lady, who wasn’t scared of the death and was surprisingly keen on life despite of the illness that would have killed her. The film is absolutely deep and delicate but also funny. The viewers often could cry in a moment and laugh the moment after. The director is able to represent a theme like the death in a very interesting and unconventional way. The actors are fantastic and the music, by Cat Stevens, is definitely perfect. In conclusion I just want to suggest you not to lose it if the film will be on in some retrospective in your city and try to see it in every way.

The film is absolutely deep and delicate but also funny. The viewers can often could cry in a one moment and laugh the moment after next. The director is was able to represent a theme like the death in a very interesting and unconventional way. The actors are fantastic and the music, by Cat Stevens, is definitely perfect.
