Perhaps software like Skritter or Anki? Super popular apps/software that are really effective.

If you don't already have one, I think having a Kanji textbook really helps (Basic Kanji Book 1 or 2 for example)
Using the website Memrise is a really good way of learning and remembering how to read Kanji, however it won't really help you write them.
Rather then remember Kanji individually I think it helps 1000 times more to learn words which are composed of the kanji you ant to learn :)
Example: Instead of learning just Fire and Flower (火 and 花) on their own, it's easier to learn them together : 花火 Fireworks (Fire flowers)
Keeping it old school and actually practising to write them over and over again is also quite important I think!
Good luck!
