Now your teacher has asked you to write a composition on the following statement: People’s lives will change dramatically in the next 50 years. Write your composition. In the last few decades decades we have been the witnesses of a great progress in many parts of our lives. The things which seemed to be impossible for our grandparents and parents are now usual for us. How will the world look like in the next five decades? Are there any risks and threats for our children? In my opinion the huge progress will be in the field of technology. There will be more innovations of the technical devices as mobile phones, computers, robots and labour saving devices, so human life will be really comfortable, even more than today. We will have more leisure time for our hobbies and it will be usual to spend a holiday in the space. Technological progress is closely connected with medicine development. Thanks to discovery of medicine curing diseases which are now considered fatal the life expactancy will be longer. On the other hand I can see some danger, releated to human activity. There is not dispute that human beings will slowly destroy the natural world. There is hardly probable that consequence of our behaviour and actions the causes air pollution, melting polar caps or extict species will be reversible. My personal position is that the future generation will go through many great changes connected with technology and medicine. Nevertheless, there is an urgent need to start taking care of the environment. If human beings are not careful with actions influencing the planet Earth globally, they will definitely lose the place to live.
