Reading sharing This is the book my instructor required me to read and after reading this book, I think it is a good book which leads the readers to think about the meaning of life. The book's title is "Man's Search For Meaning," written by Viktor E. Frankl. This book is about the author's own experience in the concentration camp during WWII. Not many people who like to recall those horrible memories, but due to the author was a clinical psychologist, he recorded what he had seen in the camp and analyzed the reaction of the prisoners. This book doesn't focus on physical suffering much but mental condition. For example, when a person who is under the heavy mental pressure, how does he maintain his desire to survive and keep going toward his dream. In the camp, many people just gave up their hope and waiting for their death. This situation is kind of similar of what I am experiencing now. English has always been my weakness from the time when I was in my country and even after I moved to the US. I had a hard time to talk to people in English and I am still not very good at it now. Day by day, it became a pressure for me to learn English. I almost lost my hope of learning English and only studied as much as I need to pass the class. When I thought I would be dying just like those prisoners who had already given up, the author's words changed my mind. People only dying when they let themselves decline. As long as I have an aim and then I would have the motivation to keep going. Things are not always as bad as I thought, and after I realized it, I happened to find this website which let me know there are many people just like me, working on studying different languages. In addition, there are also many people who are willing to help others to learn a new language. How lucky I am! Anyways, this book talks about more than this. I highly recommend this book to you guys and hope you will enjoy it!

This is the book my instructor required me to read and after reading it, I thought (think + past tense = thought) it is a good book which leads the readers to think about the meaning of life. The book's title is "Man's Search For Meaning," written by Viktor E. Frankl. This book is about the author's own experience in the concentration camp during WWII. Not many people who like to recall those horrible memories, but due to the fact that the author was a clinical psychologist, he recorded what he had seen in the camp and then analyzed the reaction of the prisoners. This book doesn't focus on physical suffering much, but mental condition. For example, when a person who is under a heavy mental pressure, how does he maintain his desire to survive and keep going toward his dream? In the camp, many people just gave up their hope and awaited for their death. This situation is kind of similar of what I am experiencing now. English has always been my weakness from the time when I was in my country and even after I moved to the US. I had a hard time to talk to people in English and I am still not very good at it now. Day by day, it became a pressure for me to learn English. I almost lost my hope in learning English and only studied as much as I needed (need + past tense = needed. lost, studied and needed. All in the same tense.) to pass classes. When I thought I would be dying just like those prisoners who had already given up, the author's words changed my mind. People only die (die + present tense = die. Die and let, same tense) when they let themselves decline. As long as I have an aim/a goal and then I will (Will = future tense. We use would = past of "will", repetition in past or conditional. Ex.: He would not be here. When I was a kid, I would cry for anything. If I were you, I wouldn't think about it.) have the motivation to keep going. Things are not always as bad as I thought, and after I realized it, I happened to find this website, which let me know that there are many people just like me, working on studying different languages. In addition, there are also many people who are willing to help others to learn a new language. How lucky I am! Anyways, this book talks about more than this. I highly recommend this book to you guys and hope you will enjoy it!
