IELTS, Describe a park or a garden you visited Describe a park or a garden you visited What this park or garden is and where it is When you went there What can be seen or done there. And explain why you like the park or garden. The park I’d like to talk about is Xiangshan Park. It’s in the north of the Beijing, not far away from urban area. I often go there with friends on the weekend. The Xiangshan Park is very huge, but the ticket price is only ten yuan. The Xiangshan Park is the royal palaces in ancient China, but it has been ruined by the Eight-Power allied Forces. You can see many relic here. There has many paths leading to the top of the mountain. Most of time we choose the left path where has a beautiful lake. The lake isn’t very large, while it’s delicate, peace and quiet. Some people play the Guqin beside it. The Guqin which is an ancient instrument is very fitted for the peaceful scenery. We will enjoy this melodious rhythm a period of time. Then we begin to climb the mountains, when we pass through an ancient temple relic and a palace relic, we will arrive at a reserved palace in the middle of the mountain. This palace has a tea house and a simple restaurant. We often have lunch here, though they only serve very limiting dishes, it’s tasty. Meanwhile we look around the palace which has great views to overlook a part of Beiijng, and it plants lots of flowers and trees, like peony, pear, peach. When we finish the lunch, we will drink cups of tea using the sweet mountain water. We all like here, that’s a best place to relax.
