It's the end... Monday is the beginning of the exams period. It means 150 points out of 300 to gain. It means two weeks of tests. At this stage, we have three options: Option number one: jumping out of the window (which would be very inefficient, knowing that I live on the first floor) Option number two: taking them and crying on my paper Option number three: taking them, hands in the pockets, without worrying one bit I chose the option number two. The last one is out of my league. We now have to prepare: identity card, checked, student card, checked, civil code, checked, six ballpoint pens (just in case the first five pens capitulated before I did), checked, highlighters, checked, and chocolate which seems to be my only friend during this battle, checked. Now it's time to go!

It's the end...

Monday is the beginning of the exams period. It means 150 points out of 300 to gain. It means two weeks of tests. At this stage, we have three options:
Option number one: jumping out of the window (which would be very inefficient, knowing that I live on the first floor)
Option number two: taking them and crying on my paper

or
Option number three: taking them, with hands in the pockets, and not worrying one bit

I chose the option number two. The last one is out of my league.

We now have to prepare: my identity card, checked, student card, checked, civil code, checked, six ballpoint pens (just in case the first five pens capitulated before I did), checked, highlighters, checked, and chocolate which seems to be my only friend during this battle, checked.

Now it's time to go!

This was very amusing and you did very well with this piece. I hope you do well on your exams! Good luck! c:

It's the end...

Monday is the beginning of the exams period. It means 150 points out of 300 to gain. (I'm not familiar with this system, maybe it's good to explain it more) It means two weeks of tests. At this stage, we have three options:
Option number one: jumping out of the window (which would be very inefficient, knowing that I live on the first floor)
Option number two: taking them and crying on my paper
Option number three: taking them, hands in the pockets (does this mean carefree? or sometimes hands in pocket means paying money like a bribe?) , without worrying one bit .

I chose (or I'm choosing - since it sounds like this didn't happen yet) the option number two. The last one is out of my league.

We now have to prepare: identity card, checked, student card, checked, civil code, checked, six ballpoint pens (just in case the first five pens capitulated (or "give up") before I diddo), checked, highlighters, checked, and chocolate which seems to be my only friend during this battle, checked.

Now it's time to go!

<em>"Check" when used in that form - it's usually present tense. It is like you are going through your list in real-time.</em>

Great work, thank you for sharing!
