My reflection of Yad-vashem(2) (This is the second part of my reflection, thanks for reading!) “When you think about the Holocaust, think about that part of history, all you remember is in black and white colors. Black and white are always represent history. However, they can see the same color like us, there is not any different between the world that we see and the world that they saw.” Said the guide, about this picture. It really make me thought. Truly, I can hardly imagine a single Holocaust picture with color like my world around me. I fell my world is so colorful, and theirs were in the history, just like they were not in the same world that I have. It is so unfair to them, they actually lived in a world that had the same color as we: blue sky, white cloud, red roses and green leaves. The Holocaust was full of darkness, full of black color. Even until now, I still cannot fill the color into that old picture, and that terrible time. There was a famous saying by a Ancient Chinese Emperor, runs like: “If you use a piece of glass to be a mirror, you can make your apparence look nicer; If you use the history to be a mirror, you can understand the world changed and know how the world will be; If you use a person to be a mirror, you can know a truly you.” That is true. No one can change the history, history is in the pass tense, but it can let you learn things from it, and never let the disaster happened again. Also, each person can let you learn things from them, compare with him, then find out your advantages, check your defects, make yourself be more perfect. I my notion, Jewish are smart and brave, no matter what things they should face to, they just believe things will change good, God will save them, and try anyway can let them survive. They keep optimistic and never say never. The Holocaust was a deep shadow for them, but they survived, and they knew is time to livin up. So this is how Israel came, and how the life of Jewish came. They will never forget that history, but they will make up and live in a brighter life. I always honor Jewish, and keep remember the history of Holocaust. (That's all. Please help me to check is there any mistake. Thank for reading!)
