marriage This week my book to study English asked me to write an article about how marriage has changed in the lastest years, so... here I go: Yesterday and today marriages: Would you get married at eighteen and have your first child two years after? Have the way in which people married changed? Thirty years ago people normallyh get married at an age that we, nowadays' people, would consider as too soon. They would become a married couple at their eighteens or their early twenties, and would have children just after that. Why? Well, there are many reasons. Regarding to "materialistic" causes, the fact that it was easier to entry in the work world made also easier for people being able to afford living alone. In addition, getting married has been, traditionally, the way of become independent from their parents. If you wanted to live alone you should married some one and going to live with them. Creating a new family was, simply, the way of supporting yourself out of your family. Nevertheless, nowadays is quite different. Peope usually spend so much more time in education and qualifications, so it takes more time to settle down, and to go into a job, which would make you afford an independent life. Yet if you've entred to the work world soon, a family is not anymore the only way of separate from your parents and going to live independetly. We can find in our society people who live alone, who live with their flatmates, or even couples who live together without being married. Consequently, most people of these days would give us a negative answer to the question which we started this article with.

Marriage

This week the book I use to study English asked me to write an article about how marriage has changed in the lastest recent years, so... here I go:

Marriage, yesterday and today:

Would you get married at eighteen and have your first child two years later after? Has the way in which people marry changed?

Thirty years ago people normallyh got married at an age that nowadays we would consider as too soon. They would become a married couple at in their late teens or their early twenties, and would have children just after that. Why? Well, there are many reasons. Regarding the "materialistic" causes, the fact that it was easier to enter in the work world also made it easier for people to be being able to afford living alone. In addition, getting married has been, traditionally, the way of becoming independent from their parents. If you wanted to live alone, you should marry someone and go to live with them. Creating a new family was, simply, the way of supporting yourself out of your family.

Nevertheless, nowadays it is quite different. Peope usually spend so much more time in education and qualifications, so it takes more time to settle down, and to go into a job, which would make you afford an independent life. Yet if you've entred to the work world early soon, a family is not anymore no longer the only way of separating from your parents and going to live independetly. We can find in our society people who live alone, who live with their flatmates, or even couples who live together without being married.
Consequently, most people of these days would give us a negative answer to the question which we started this article with. (o, to the question with which we started this article).

Well done.  It looks like you need to practive when to use the infinitive and when to use the gerund form of the verb.
